Course Description – Sales Agent Post License Real Estate Course The 18-hour Post License Real Estate Course is a comprehensive practical application of the pre-license principles of real estate to the real estate marketing industry. This course is designed to provide you with the tools and techniques necessary to complete a real estate transaction from properly writing a contract to closing the transaction. You will receive hands-on experience in use and understanding of real estate forms language in contracts and addenda; lending and settlement documents to ensure compliance with all Arkansas real estate regulations; and state and federal laws governing real estate transactions and agency. You will also participate in discussions and written exercises designed to minimize risk to you and the principle broker. The Arkansas Real Estate Commission requires this course for all new licensees within the first year after obtaining a real estate license.

Course Description – 1 hour class Beginning January 2017, the AREC will require all licensees take a one-hour Real Estate Safety course.
This course presents a common-sense approach to real estate agent safety based upon advise from experts
in safety-related fields.
NAR Biennial Ethics- NOTE- ETHICS TRAINING IS NOW REQUIRED EVERY 2 YEARS FOR REALTORS®

Course Description -3 hour class New and continuing REALTOR® members are required to complete ethics training of not less than 2 hours, 30 minutes of instructional time within two-year cycles. This course meets the specific learning objectives and criteria established by the National Association of REALTORS®.
Goals established by the National Association’s Board of Directors for this training include:
- to heighten member awareness of the key tenets of the Code of Ethics;
- to create an awareness of and appreciation for the role the Code can and should play in their professional lives;
- to enhance professionalism and competency; and
- to encourage REALTORS® to view their Code of Ethics as a living, viable guide in their daily dealings with clients, customers, and the public.
Real Estate Advertising: Are You Doing It Right?

Course Description – 3 hour class This course, new for 2016, explores the laws, regulations and best practices for advertising. Learn to choose proven advertising media to increase return on investment from the target audience. Recognize MLS rules and regulations pertaining to cooperative compensation time deadlines for initial entry, photos, status change and agent interest in the property being listed. Identify rules for advertising to remain compliant with AREC regulations.
